Adolescence is a very unstable time in our life as we go through puberty. Suddenly, due to changes in hormone levels, we have adult physical characteristics.
But teenagers are not as mature or experienced as adults. This is a recipe for a mess that each of us goes through or another.
For example, not so beautiful people, low achievers, etc. They have problems with their self-esteem. In a time when a rebel is quiet, teenagers don't have many people to talk to.
Whenever you find yourself in a situation or meet someone who is facing similar issues, here are some self-esteem activities you can do:
1. Ignore people's comments.
You may have heard people say that he was an idiot when he was young. Are you happy; People did not welcome them; Otherwise they will be canceled.
This should give you a pretty good idea of how crazy some teenager's comments are. There is no concept of truth in these comments and they only contain simple instincts that you know are wrong too.
However, you are at a stage where a backup is not possible. Therefore, double your comment with your actions. Therefore, it is better to avoid other people's comments.
2. Make yourself a priority.
There is only one way to be successful and that is hard work. Adolescence is an age when you can have a career, especially if you like sports or art.
Look at any world-class athlete, most of whom have started their own lives. Another benefit of these activities is that they divert your attention from a toxic environment.
If you exercise a lot you will improve, which will make you believe in yourself and increase your self-esteem.
3. Stop making other people happy.
This, in turn, reduces their productivity without disturbing the teenager until they make other people happy. But when popularity dies and reality kicks in, teens underestimate it and blame themselves.
So you better stop liking yourself and work on yourself.
4. Move to a new place every day.
This is tricky and can work out in different ways. Whenever adults wreak havoc, it's best to meditate or do yoga.
But a normal teenager doesn't have the patience to do that. That is why it is better for them to move to a new place and experience new things.
This can be through a book, video game, documentary, physical work, or whatever. Get away from the world for a few hours and enjoy life. This will lift your spirit and your image in your head.
5. Get a part-time or freelance job.
There is no better life than receiving your first paycheck. You have a couple of rupees to spend however you want.
Also, you feel like you are making money at a young age. Studies show that money increases the self-esteem of people of all ages. Therefore, it doesn't hurt to become independent.
6. Write down three good things every day.
Our minds are formed by ignoring positivity and thinking a lot about the negative aspect. It is very important that you remember all the good things you have done throughout the day to help balance both sides.
One of the easiest ways to do this is to write three good things in a journal. If you are sad, you can also read the magazine and feel good.
7. Reward yourself for your accomplishments.
Whenever you are sad, you feel like the biggest disappointment in the world. So, following this logic, you should be the best traveler every time you get something.
And for that you have to reward yourself with a delicious meal, a day off or a new dress. By rewarding yourself, you convey positivity and give yourself another reason to work hard for your goal.
The adolescent does not go with anyone completely; They are destined for many ups and downs. But that doesn't mean he can't do his job. If you try hard enough, things will end for you.
